 ARCC NEWS

UPDATED 20th November 2008

CHECK YOUR TYRES

With the wet winter weather now with us there are flints, stones and muck being washed onto the roads. At this time we all need tyres that in good condition. Please could all members please check your tyres thouroughly after each ride for cuts, wear and debris stuck in your tyres. If in any doubt change your tyres. If you find small flints in your tyres spend a few minutes picking them out, it may not have punctured this time but it will work its way deeper and pop your inner tube in the future..........A couple of minuites doing this now could save the group standing in the rain and cold watching you fix a pucture. Punctures not only cause dalays and frustration standing around on club runs but the danger of a blow out due to poor tyres in the middle of a fast moving group cannot be ignored.

Please check them NOW, your safety and the safety others should not be ignored.
