I have currently included all the events I believe to be within a reasonable travelling distance. The aim is to attend as many as possible of these races with a strong team and on occasion we may be represented at more than one event on a given date. All of these events are open to cat 4 riders but you are advised to upgrade to silver British Cycling membership and purchase a full racing licence in order to avoid purchasing a day licence at every event.
However, DO NOT do this before 1 January 2009 as your licence will expire on 31 December 2008 requiring you to purchase another for next season!
CIRCUIT RACING
All riders, especially those who are interested in being a part of the 2009 racing squad, are encouraged to take part in circuit racing on a regular basis.
Saturdays 6 December to 14 February (+ 26 December and 1 January) - Imperial Winter Series - Hillingdon Cycle Circuit - 4 (12.30 - £8) or 2/3 (14.15 - £10) - £5 series registration
Saturdays 14 March to 28 March - Beyond Sprint Crits - Hillingdon Cycle Circuit - 2/3/4
Tuesdays 7 April to 18 August and Saturdays 22 August to 29 September - BC West Thames Circuit Races - Hillingdon Cycle Circuit - 4 or E/1/2/3
Thursdays 16 April to 27 August - Milton Keynes Cycling Association Circuit Races - Milton Keynes Bowl - 3/4 or E/1/2/3
Saturday 25 April - North Bucks Spring Circuit Race - Milton Keynes Bowl - 3/4

TIME TRIALS
There are many time trials taking place through the year. Riders are encouraged to take part in West London Combine events and our own series of Sunday morning time trials. Evening time trials are provided locally on weekday evenings through the spring and summer by High Wycombe CC, Hillingdon Triathletes and British Airways CC and are friendly events open to all. There are also a number of clubs promoting open events in the area and information about these will appear as I recieve it.
