AMERSHAM - Road Cycling Club Ladies
Over the past few weeks we have been delighted to welcome a number of women cyclists to our rides. Whether you are a newcomer, a seasoned recreational or even race rider you will be welcomed by all at ARCC. From 20th September we will be cancelling the Monday evening rides in view of the darker evenings and we will be replacing them with regular Saturday afternoon easy ride starting at 12.00 pm from Annie Baileys Layby of between 20 and 30 miles at a steady pace.
The more experienced riders are welcome to join in the Sunday morning club runs that start from Great Missenden Link Road car park at 8.30 on Sunday mornings. We generally have two groups, one riding at moderate pace and the other a little quicker. The routes are usually between 50 and 70 miles and we always stop for coffee and cake half way!
If you are enjoying riding with ARCC please encourage your friends to come along. We want to expand the membership of the club by supporting and encourage more female cyclists. |
